Tim is a board member of the Heart of the South West Local Enterprise Partnership (having served as Chairman from its inception) and Chairman of Devon & Cornwall Business Council. He serves on the executive of the Heart of the South West Business Forum, as independent Vice Chairman of the Water Futures Panel, and Vice Chairman of Plymouth Area Business Council.

Tim’s business career spans 30 years as a Chartered Surveyor, and he is extensively involved in commercial property development across the South West peninsula. He is a Director with Belstone Fox Project Management Ltd and Wessex Investors Ltd, and Chairman of Finance Cornwall Fund Managers Ltd. Tim is a Special Advisor to HM Prison Services and a Trustee of Broadreach, which offers treatment, education and training services for those with drug and alcohol addiction, and is a Patron of Tomorrow’s People. He is Chairman for the Dartington Hall Trust Property Board and served for 22 years as Chairman of the Princes Trust for Devon & Cornwall.
